Configuration sets

It is possible to configure 3 different configuration sets in the HID Joystick. The user can switch between the different configuration sets easily, by mapping this function to an action of the joystick or a button. The configuration sets are indicated by the LED lights on the interface (1 green LED = config set 1, …) and optional auditive feedback.

Note: If the user is executing an action (e.g. left mouse click) and cycles to another configuration set at that moment, the action will be terminated.

Joystick parameters

To each direction of the joystick, different actions can be allocated. Either under a nudge or a full movement.
  • North = forward
  • East = right
  • South = backward
  • West = left

Setting Description Parameters
Action - direct Action is activated from the moment the key is pressed until the key is released.
Note: Output of direct action is blocked for as long as the nudge timer is active.

  • Mouse move N - E - S - W
  • Joystick button 1 - 8
  • Keyboard string
Action - nudge All the different actions that can be attributed to a nudge of the joystick. Options
  • None

  • Left mouse click & hold
  • Double left mouse click
  • Mouse scroll N - E - S - W
  • Config set 1 - 2 - 3
  • Joystick button 1 - 8
  • Keyboard string

Keyboard string - direct Only active when the Keyboard string value is selected for Action - direct.
Note: This action will send the characters for as long as the action is active.

Button parameters

The buttons can either perform a direct action or you can distinguish between a short/medium/long press.
