Global parameters
Setting | Description | Parameters | |
---|---|---|---|
Move speed | Sets the mouse movement speeds (dots per inch): the higher this value is, the faster the cursor will move. Note: This is only relevant when a mouse movement action is configured. |
Default | 10 |
Min. | 1 | ||
Max. | 127 | ||
Step | 1 | ||
Scroll speed | When moving a scroll wheel on a standard mouse, you can feel a little click. The value of this parameter, represents one such click. The higher this value, the faster you will scroll horizontally or vertically. Note: For a controlled way of scrolling (e.g. inventory of a game or scrolling slowly through a document), do not place it under a direct action, but rather under a joystick nudge or short/medium/long button press. Note: This is only relevant when a mouse scroll action is configured. |
Default | 10 |
Min. | 1 | ||
Max. | 127 | ||
Step | 1 | ||
Scroll repeat time |
This parameter is only relevant when a mouse scroll action is configured. Scrolling a mouse wheel on a standard mouse is a single triggered event. If the scroll action is mapped to the direct joystick action, then it becomes a repeated event. This value indicates the repeat time of the event (scroll). Note: This is only relevant when a mouse scroll action is configured.

Default | 50 mS |
Min. | 50 mS | ||
Max. | 10000 mS | ||
Step | 50 mS | ||
Acceleration |
This parameter is relevant when a mouse action is configured as direct AND nudge action of the joystick. The direct action will be blocked until the nudge timer has expired. After the expiration of the timer, the mouse will move suddenly. To give the user more control over this mouse movement, the speed of the movement accelerates from zero to the max move speed. How fast this acceleration is, is determined by this parameter. |
Default | 50% |
Min. | 10% | ||
Max. | 100% | ||
Step | 10% |
Auditive feedback
Setting | Description | Parameters | ||
---|---|---|---|---|
Medium timer | Beep when short timer of button action is expired | Default | Short beep | |
Other | None | |||
Long timer | Beep when medium timer of button action is expired | Default | Long beep | |
Other | None | |||
Config set | Beep when changing to another config set | Default | Number of beeps | |
Other | None | |||
Volume | Volume of the auditive feedback Note: This parameter is only relevant when the auditive feedback parameters have a beep configured. |
Default | 100% | |
Min. | 0% | |||
Max. | 100% | |||
Step | 1% |
Buttons
Setting | Description | Parameters | |
---|---|---|---|
Short timer | Only relevant if you choose a short/medium/long press over direct action. If the button is pressed for a time smaller than the short timer, the short press action will be executed. If the button is pressed for a time longer than the short timer, but shorter than the long timer, the medium press action will be executed. If the button is pressed for a time longer than the long timer, the long press action will be executed. |
Default | 1000 mS |
Min. | 0 mS | ||
Max. | 10000 mS | ||
Step | 100 mS | ||
Long timer | Default | 2000 mS | |
Min. | 0 mS | ||
Max. | 10000 mS | ||
Step | 100 mS | ||
Debounce timer | The button has to be pressed for longer than the debounce timer, before it is seen as an input. It can be useful to increase this timer in case the user has a tremor, for instance. | Min. | 20 mS |
Max. | 100 mS | ||
Step | 10 mS |
Input joystick
Setting | Description | Parameters | |
---|---|---|---|
Threshold | The threshold is used when the joystick is configured as a switch. When the joystick is deflected further than the threshold, the system will consider this to be a key press. When the joystick is below the threshold again, the system will consider this to be a key release. | Default | 50 |
Min. | 30 | ||
Max. | 70 | ||
Step | 1 | ||
Nudge timer |
The nudge timer defines the time that will be used to detect a joystick nudge. The nudge timer starts when the joystick is deflected further than the threshold and stops when it is below the threshold again. Note: When the nudge timer value is zero, no nudge action is possible.
Note: Output of the direct action will be blocked for as long as this timer is active.

Default | 1000 |
Min. | 0 | ||
Max. | 50000 | ||
Step | 100 | ||
Deadband | You can adjust the deadband, or the neutral zone around the center of the joystick where movement is not seen as an input. | Default | 10% |
Min. | 0 | ||
Max. | 15 | ||
Step | 1 |
Miscellaneous
Setting | Description | Parameters | |
---|---|---|---|
Input filter | If you set this to Block diagonal axes, only movements north, south, east and west are recognised. This can be useful for people who cannot operate the joystick very precisely. | Default | None |
Other | Block diagonal axes | ||
8 keyboard axes | By default, you can't combine keyboard axes. E.g. if you want to use the arrow keys UP and then LEFT, you have to go back to the center every time. However, you can activate 8 keyboard axes. This way, you can activate the UP and LEFT key at the same time. Note: Make sure that the nudge actions in the active configuration set are all set to None and that all direct actions are set to Keyboard string. |
